Few Made Jewelry’s 2021 Year In Review

As we approach the new year filled with anticipation for what’s to come, the past month has also been a time of reflection for us at Few Made Jewelry. As you know, FMJ is a small, family-run business. One that felt the shared hardships that 2020 brought the world, along with some exciting business wins in the following year as well.

I rarely like to look back except to see how far we’ve come and how we have grown. And boy, have we done just that…

Few Made Jewelry 2021 Year in Review

The most exciting project of the year! All made possible with the help of the most talented team I’ve had the pleasure of working with: Copy Uncorked, Drop Cap Design, and Sela Vie Creative. The Dream Makers.

Together, we knew what we wanted Few Made to be when it ‘grew up’. But I have to admit - until it actually happened, it was difficult to imagine. All-in-all, it was an exhaustive and incredible eight-month project that truly stretched me creatively and emotionally. Finally seeing our vision for a new and elevated Few Made brought to life felt like we were coming out of a cocoon and seeing the sky open for us. We couldn’t be more thrilled to continue to show it off!

Although the Few Made business reached new milestones this year, it unfortunately was not an easy year for us as a family. We lost our dad on the first of the year and more recently, my stepsister. Navigating through the grief that comes with that while also running a small business is tough. But, what I came to realize is that our community that we’ve built here at FMJ is REAL. Notes, messages, constant calls....it's all been so genuine and healing.

Love, loss, growth, gratitude, and the celebration of each other and the special moments we share are all parts of our journey as a family and business.

What’s important to us as a family and company? You, our community! Our desire is to continue to create pieces that inspire you to celebrate every moment in your life.

Few Made wouldn’t be possible without you. So, thank you to all the treasure-seekers and memory keepers that make this collective possible. Thank you for being a part of this wonderful community we call home!

As we look to the future, we’re holding on to our truth: Love, Community, and Service are everything.

It also makes me think of so many of you in our community who we’ve come to know and who have shared their lives with us through birthdays, anniversaries, graduations, promotions, and holidays. It’s been such a privilege to be a part of those occasions and it’s a great honor and one we cherish. We love receiving pictures of those events and seeing Few Made front and center. Amazing!

FMJ was and still is a dream that started with a passion to create something beautiful through jewelry and a way to make a living by doing what we believe in.

But turns out, it’s evolved into so much more. Into a community of strong, talented, kind, and inspiring people who have come together through jewelry.

We don’t entirely know what next year holds for us except that we plan to make memories. To live life with those we love and celebrate the moments along the way that give us joy.

With love, Kena Treadway & Family

In a strange way, 2021 was all about 2022. We can’t say much (we’re dying to!), but we can say that there’s never been a better time to follow along on the Few Made adventure.
